Michael was educated at Melbourne University. He first focused in pure research, completing a Masters Degree in Science. He then gravitated to academia, lecturing in Biological Sciences and Teaching Methods for 6 years whilst completing a Masters degree in Education.

Michael also has had a long distinguished sporting background representing Australia in track and field as well as being highly decorated and recognised in Australian Rules football circles.

He then made a life change into the Corporate IT industry. He has held senior management positions in well known local Australian companies such as Hisoft and Ipex as well as multinational companies such as DXC, Oracle, Kofax, Teradata, Fujistu, Candle.

Michael utilises his unique combination of academic, elite sport and successful business acumen to provide insights into solving business problems with a strong positive teaching/coaching style; instilling co-workers with a self belief in their capability to succeed.

I relish the role of coach, mentor and manager. Throughout my life I have been a teacher, University academic, and also a sporting coach. In business I have had senior leadership and management roles. I have always led by example and believe the best way to manage and mentor people is to empower them with skills and attitudes that will lead them to success.
